Our team, in our headquarters, in Lisbon, Portugal, is crucial to ensure the Health for All Programme in Sao Tome and Principe keeps answering the needs and expectations of the Sao Tomean population. We highlight the pivotal role played by Dr. Ahmez Zaky, our Project Director and the Health for All Coordinator in our headquarters.
Today we are 21 and we work daily with diligence, accuracy and ethics to build a more just and inclusive sustainable future for thousands of people.
The Health for All Team however…
Includes hundreds of people that dedicate their time and competences to improving the Sao Tomean National Health Service. This includes our Coordinator in Sao Tome and Principe, Dr. Edgar Neves, the people responsible for the logistics that keep Health for All running, the health professionals of the 30 sanitary units of Sao Tome and Principe and the portuguese doctors, nurses and technical staff that integrate the short term medical missions of the 22 medical specialties.
The Health for All: Integrated Programme (Primary Care: autonomy and efficacy and Specialized Care and Telemedicine) is the result of the collective effort of hundreds of people that, in the last 25 years have been the daily workers of one of the best health cooperation programmes recognized nationally and internationally, without which the universal access to quality healthcare in Sao Tome and Principe would not have been achieved.
